Mountain Mondern - Sedona
Mountain Modern is a small boutique hotel with a sister property in Jackson, WY. Their carefully curated design caters to the outdoor experience. The rooms are well thought out with plenty of space to hang and store gear in addition to having coat hooks. We’re shocked at how many places miss that feature. Lastly, we think the hard tile floors are a smart move for an outdoor centric town. With so many things to do on dirt, it’s nice knowing the floors clean easy compared to carpet.
Mountain Modern is dog friendly with a fenced in area for pets to be off leash. The property also has a pool and small restaurant called the Den. Located on the west side of Sedona just off 89A, the hotel is close to many great hikes and outdoor experiences.
Chapel Area Sanctuary
We booked this Airbnb for Owen’s birthday because of the price, location, and view. It’s located near Oak Creek, but still in Sedona and was close to the hikes we wanted to do. The price was great for Sedona and we loved the view!
Sedona Soul Shack

We stayed here for Lauren’s birthday and the view was incredible. This airbnb has a beautiful view of the red rocks with floor to ceiling windows to take in the view. The airbnb hosts are also so incredible! This studio on the owners property used to be her dad’s art studio. We felt lucky to be able to stay in it! If you’re interested here is the airbnb link.
The Saddlerock House
This airbnb is located in west Sedona and is a beautiful 3 bedroom home! The location is perfect with easy access to everything west Sedona has to offer.
Willow Cottage in the Trees
This is where we stayed for our first over night trip to Sedona! A perfect location for a reasonable price. It is a guest house that is not directly connected to the main house.
Amara Resort & Spa
If you’re looking for a relaxing resort stay the Amara Resort is amazing and it just so happens to have our favorite restaurant The Salt Rock Kitchen inside of it. There’s also a pool with a great view of the red rocks and Oak Creek is just steps away. For more information check our their website here.
