Granola Girl Outfits: Cute and Functional Outdoor Looks

Granola Girl Outfits for Everyday Adventure

Granola girl outfits are fun and cute, but for me comfort always comes first. If I’m outside, camping, road tripping, or just hanging around camp, I want to feel relaxed and unrestricted. The aesthetic is a bonus, not the goal.

These are the outfits I actually reach for when we’re camping or spending long days outside. Think soft layers, oversized pieces, breathable fabrics, and shoes I can walk around in for hours. They might look effortlessly outdoorsy, but the real priority is being comfortable enough to enjoy where I am.

And when I’m not hanging out at camp or in the car, I’m usually on trail and you can find my favorite trail tested and endorsed hiking gear and apparel below.

Lauren's Hiking Gear

We spend a lot of time on trail or at camp, so I value gear and apparel that is easy to move in, breathable, offers some sun protection, keeps me warm when needed, and holds up with lot of wear. I’m a big fan of the Salomon X Ultra low series of boots and have a regular pair and Gore-Tex pair. They also make a mid version too! During warmer months I like to hike in a tank (full blog post here) and will layer it with a short sleeve or sun hoodie depending on the weather. In colder climates I still like to wear a form fitting tank with long sleeve layers on top.
